Oath of Fealty - Clan Agony and Hamlet Skogul

In this holy place of Auros, I Breg Steelforge, Lord of Clan Agony and Holder of Skogul in the presence of my people do hearby swear and acknowledge the sovereignty of His Majesty King Manus, duke of Wessex, count of Elba over us and our lands.

His enemies are our enemies, his friends are our friends.

The house of Agony swears to hold the fief of Skodul in his name and contribute the resources of said hamlet towards the good of the Kingdom as outlined by the Royal Exchequer and our clan size of 40 members.

This contribution will be a minimum of 5600gp per week, and a total of 4000 resources of either Timber, Stone, Ore, or Reagents. If the clan grows beyond 40 members we will adjust upwards the amount of the said tax.

We swear to send our forces where and how he commands and to uphold "The Carta Solis, the Crown and the Common Law".

I, the aforesaid Manus, King of Hyperion, Duke of Wessex, Count of Elba, Baron of Yew, to all his liegemen, and to all other clans subject to his dominion, Sendeth greeting. Whensoever these our letters shall come unto you, know ye that we have received Sir Breg Steelforge, knight of Hyperion unto our grace and favor. Wherefore, whosoever within the bounds of our territories shall be willing to give him aid, as our vassal and liegeman, let him be assured of our favor and license on that behalf. In due fealty, we accept that hamlet of Skogul that we may render it back to him in fee, which he has spoken he will give a portion of the abundance of to us. We further vow that we will protect that hamlet of Skogul and the interests of our knight, and do what a liege lord ought, as he has sworn to do with us.

Having lost their Knight and his oath of fealty, Agony is no longer recognized within Hyperion and the title and any lands relinquished to the Crown by escheat. Their successor has requested to remain on friendly terms with Hyperion as members of the Yssam Coalition.
