I, Cynewulf Earmhund, Archbishop of Sol Invictus, do pledge to His Majesty, Manus Dei, by the grace of Auros, King of Hyperion, that I shall render loyal service to him in the office of Lord Chancellor of the House of Lords, performing my duties there as ably as I can, and where my native ability falls short, the wisdom and strength of our Radiant Lord buttress and complete it.
I swear to bring matters to timely discussion and vote in the House of Lords, to oversee the Chancery with the Lord Chamberlain, and to faithfully conduct diplomacy to the advancement of Hyperion.
