I, Mikhal Altus, do pledge to His Majesty King Manus, and to the Kingdom as a whole, myself in service as a Royal Preafectus until such time as it is deemed that I have proven myself in a manner befitting this station and as such to serve His Royal Majesty and the Kingdom, as a Royal Sheriff.
I do solemnly swear to uphold the law to the best of my ability, to enforce the laws as stated in the Carta Solis and the common law of the kingdom and to establish the Rule of Order in a realm so full of Anarchy and Chaos.
I do affirm that I serve only by the grace of the Crown, and would step down if found to be lacking in my position.
So sworn in this, the first year of the reign of His Majesty King Manus Dei
